Checking-in-progress.com is a dubious website which uses the browser notification feature to force users into allowing its spam notifications from this or similar websites that will in turn bombard users with unwanted adverts usually related to adware software, adult web-sites and other click fraud schemes. It will display a ‘Click Allow to continue’ message, asking you to subscribe to notifications.

If you press the ‘Allow’ button, then your browser will be configured to display pop up adverts in the right bottom corner of the desktop. The push notifications will promote ‘free’ online games, giveaway scams, suspicious web browser addons, adult web sites, and fake downloads as shown in the figure below.

In order to remove Checking-in-progress.com push notifications open the internet browser’s settings, type ‘Notifications’ in the search, open ‘Notifications’ settings.   6. On the bottom of the “Advanced settings” page, press the “Reset settings to their original defaults” button.
  7. The Chrome will open the reset settings dialog box as shown on the screen above.
  8. Confirm the internet browser’s reset by clicking on the “Reset” button.

Delete Checking-in-progress.com popups from Firefox

The Firefox will start a procedure to fix your problems that caused by the Checking-in-progress.com adware. After, it is complete, click the “Finish” button.
