Click the “Refresh Firefox” button at the top right of the Troubleshooting Information page. Select “Refresh Firefox” in the confirmation dialog box. The Mozilla Firefox will begin a procedure to fix your problems that caused by the adware that cause annoying Uniblue.com popups to appear. When, it’s complete, click the “Finish” button.

Get rid of unwanted Scheduled Tasks

If the unwanted Uniblue.com web site opens automatically on Windows startup or at equal time intervals, then you need to check the Task Scheduler Library and delete all the tasks that have been created by adware.

If you are not sure that executes the task, check it through a search engine. If it’s a component of the ‘ad-supported’ program, then this task also should be removed.

Having defined the task that you want to delete, then press on it with the right mouse button and select Delete as displayed in the following example.

Repeat this step, if you have found a few tasks that have been created by adware. Once is done, close the Task Scheduler window.

Fix web-browser shortcuts, modified by ‘ad supported’ software

After the ad supported software is started, it can also modify the web-browser’s shortcuts, adding an argument like “http://site.address” into the Target field. Due to this, every time you launch the web-browser, it will open an unwanted site.

To clear the web browser shortcut, right-click to it and select Properties. On the Shortcut tab, locate the Target field. Click inside, you will see a vertical line – arrow pointer, move it (using -> arrow key on your keyboard) to the right as possible. You will see a text like “http://site.address” that has been added here. You need to delete it.

Now click the “Scan Now” button . MalwareBytes utility will start scanning the whole machine to find out ad supported software that causes web-browsers to show annoying Uniblue.com advertisements.
