If the list has the addon signed with “Installed by enterprise policy” or “Installed by your administrator”, then complete the following steps: Remove Chrome extensions installed by enterprise policy.

Open the Google Chrome menu once again. Further, click the option called “Settings”.

The web-browser will show the settings screen. Another solution to open the Google Chrome’s settings – type chrome://settings in the web-browser adress bar and press Enter

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the “Advanced” link. Now scroll down until the “Reset” section is visible, as shown below and click the “Reset settings to their original defaults” button.

You need to confirm your action, press the “Reset” button. The browser will start the task of cleaning. When it’s finished, the browser’s settings including new tab, startpage and search engine by default back to the values that have been when the Chrome was first installed on your computer.

Get rid of AdzShield from Microsoft Internet Explorer

In order to recover browser settings changed by adware you need to reset the Microsoft Internet Explorer to the state, which was when the MS Windows was installed on your personal computer.

You will now need to reboot your PC for the changes to take effect. It will remove unwanted ads, disable malicious and adware browser’s extensions and restore the Internet Explorer’s settings such as homepage, default search engine and new tab to default state.

Get rid of AdzShield from Firefox by resetting web browser settings

The Firefox reset will delete unwanted ads, fix modified preferences, disable malicious extensions and restore security settings changed by adware. However, your saved passwords and bookmarks will not be changed or cleared.

First, run the Mozilla Firefox. Next, click the button in the form of three horizontal stripes (Mozilla Firefox menu button). It will show the drop-down menu. Next, click the Help button (Firefox help button).
