News-tupaga.cc is a website that attempts to fool you into subscribing to push notifications. Scammers use push notifications to bypass protection against pop-ups in the internet browser and therefore display a large number of unwanted adverts. These advertisements are used to promote questionable web-browser extensions, giveaway scams, adware software bundles, and adult web pages.

Some research has shown that users can be redirected to News-tupaga.cc from suspicious ads or by PUPs and adware software. Adware installed without the user’s knowledge is a form of malware.   • In the top right corner of the Firefox window, click on the three horizontal stripes to expand the Main menu.
  • In the menu go to ‘Options’, in the menu on the left go to ‘Privacy & Security’.
  • Scroll down to ‘Permissions’ section and click ‘Settings…’ button next to ‘Notifications’.
  • Select the News-tupaga.cc domain from the list and change the status to ‘Block’.
  • Save changes.
  • Click the More button (it looks like three dots) in the right upper corner of the browser.
  • Scroll down, find and click ‘Settings’. In the left side select ‘Advanced’.
  • Click ‘Manage permissions’ button, located beneath ‘Website permissions’.
  • Click the switch below the News-tupaga.cc URL so that it turns off.

Delete News-tupaga.cc advertisements from Internet Explorer

In order to restore all internet browser homepage, newtab page and search provider you need to reset the Internet Explorer to the state, that was when the Windows was installed on your personal computer.
