Remove PopBlock+ from Microsoft Internet Explorer

In order to restore all browser search provider by default, startpage and newtab page you need to reset the Internet Explorer to the state, which was when the MS Windows was installed on your machine.

First, start the Internet Explorer, press IE tools menu icon) button. Next, press “Internet Options” like below.

In the “Internet Options” screen select the Advanced tab. Next, press Reset button. The Internet Explorer will display the Reset Internet Explorer settings dialog box. Select the “Delete personal settings” check box and click Reset button.

You will now need to restart your PC for the changes to take effect. It will remove PopBlock+ , disable malicious and ad-supported web browser’s extensions and restore the Internet Explorer’s settings such as default search engine, home page and newtab to default state.

Remove PopBlock+ from Google Chrome

Use the Reset browser utility of the Chrome to reset all its settings such as start page, search engine by default and new tab page to original defaults. This is a very useful utility to use, in the case of adware infection.

  1. First launch the Chrome and click Menu button (small button in the form of three dots).
  2. It will display the Google Chrome main menu. Choose More Tools, then press Extensions.
  3. You will see the list of installed add-ons. If the list has the extension labeled with “Installed by enterprise policy” or “Installed by your administrator”, then complete the following steps: Remove Chrome extensions installed by enterprise policy.
  4. Now open the Google Chrome menu once again, click the “Settings” menu.
  5. You will see the Google Chrome’s settings page. Scroll down and press “Advanced” link.
  6. Scroll down again and press the “Reset” button.

Remove PopBlock+ adware software from Mozilla Firefox

If your Mozilla Firefox web browser is hijacked by adware or an unknown search provider opens results for your search, then it may be time to perform the browser reset. However, your saved passwords and bookmarks will not be changed, deleted or cleared.
