The uprealtime.com is classified as ‘ad’ site which can display unwanted pop-up ads within the Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox and MS Edge or redirect your internet browser on other ads web pages. Remove suspicious and unknown software by using Windows Control Panel

We recommend that you begin the computer cleaning procedure by checking the list of installed software and uninstall all unknown or suspicious software. To clear the web-browser shortcut, right-click to it and select Properties. On the Shortcut tab, locate the Target field. Click inside, you will see a vertical line – arrow pointer, move it (using -> arrow key on your keyboard) to the right as possible. You will see a text that starts with “http://” which has been added here. You need to remove it.

Remove uprealtime.com from Google Chrome

Like other modern internet browsers, the Google Chrome has the ability to reset the settings to their default values and thereby get rid of the redirect to uprealtime.com unwanted advertisements that is caused by the adware.

At first, start the Chrome. Next, click the button in the form of three horizontal stripes (google chrome menu button). It will appear the main menu. Click on the option named “Settings”. Another way to show the Chrome’s settings – type chrome://settings in the web-browser adress bar and press Enter.

The web browser will open the settings screen. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Show advanced settings” link. Now scroll down until the “Reset settings” section is visible, like below and click the “Reset settings” button.

The Google Chrome will show the confirmation prompt. You need to confirm your action, click the “Reset” button. The program will start the process of cleaning. Once it is complete, the web browser settings including the ‘block pop-ups’ option back to the values that have been when the Chrome was first installed on your personal computer.

Get rid of uprealtime.com pop-ups from Firefox

First, start the FF. Next, click the button in the form of three horizontal stripes (Firefox menu button). It will open the drop-down menu. Next, click the “Help” button (Mozilla Firefox help button).

In the Help menu, press the “Troubleshooting Information”. In the upper-right corner of the “Troubleshooting Information” page, click “Refresh Firefox” button.

Confirm your action, click the “Refresh Firefox”.

Remove uprealtime.com ads from Microsoft Internet Explorer

To get rid of the uprealtime.com advertisements you need to reset the Microsoft Internet Explorer to the state, which was when the Windows was installed on your machine.

First, run the Microsoft Internet Explorer, then press ‘gear’ icon Internet Explorer tools menu icon. It will show the drop-down menu on the right part of the browser, then click the “Internet Options” as shown on the image below.

In the “Internet Options” screen, you need to select the “Advanced” tab and click the “Reset” button. The Internet Explorer will display the “Reset IE settings” dialog box as shown below. Next, press the “Delete personal settings” check box to select it. After that, press the “Reset” button.

Once the procedure is finished, click “Close” button. Close the Internet Explorer and reboot your computer for the changes to take effect. This step will help you to restore your web-browser’s settings to default state and disable ‘ad-supported’ extensions.

Remove unwanted Scheduled Tasks

If the unwanted uprealtime.com web site opens automatically on Windows startup or at equal time intervals, then you need to check the Task Scheduler Library and get rid of all the tasks that have been created by unwanted applications.

Press Windows and R keys on the keyboard together. This opens a prompt that titled with Run. In the text field, type “taskschd.msc” (without the quotes) and click OK. Task Scheduler window opens. In the left-hand side, click “Task Scheduler Library”, as shown on the image below.

In the middle part you will see a list of installed tasks. Select the first task, its properties will be open just below automatically. Next, press the Actions tab. Pay attention to that it launches on your personal computer. Found something like “explorer.exe http://site.address” or “chrome.exe http://site.address”, then you need delete it. If you are not sure that executes the task, check it through a search engine. If it is a component of the malicious application, then this task also should be removed.

Having defined the task that you want to delete, then click on it with the right mouse button and select Delete as shown below.

Repeat this step, if you have found a few tasks that have been created by malicious programs. Once is finished, close the Task Scheduler window.
