Remove SpeedTestMe from Chrome

If your Chrome web browser is hijacked by SpeedTestMe, it can be necessary to completely reset your web browser program to its default settings.

Open the Chrome menu by clicking on the button in the form of three horizontal dotes (chrome menu button). It will open the drop-down menu. Select More Tools, then click Extensions.

Carefully browse through the list of installed extensions. Remove SpeedTestMe from Mozilla Firefox

Delete SpeedTestMe from Microsoft Internet Explorer

In order to recover webbrowser settings you need to reset the Internet Explorer to the state, which was when the Windows was installed on your device.

First, open the IE, click IE tools menu icon) button. Next, click “Internet Options” as on the image below.

In the “Internet Options” screen select the Advanced tab. Next, click Reset button. The Internet Explorer will open the Reset Internet Explorer settings dialog box. Select the “Delete personal settings” check box and press Reset button.
