Once downloading is complete, close all applications and windows on your machine. Open a directory in which you saved it. Run the saved file and follow the prompts.
Once installation is finished, you’ll see window as shown on the image below.
Now click the “Scan” button to perform a system scan for the GeneralSection adware. Depending on your MAC, the scan can take anywhere from a few minutes to close to an hour. When a malicious software, adware or potentially unwanted programs are found, the number of the security threats will change accordingly.
As the scanning ends, MalwareBytes will show you the results. Next, you need to click “Remove Selected Items” button.
