Once the download is finished, close all apps and windows on your computer. Open a directory in which you saved it. Run the saved file and follow the prompts.
Once install is complete, you will see window as on the image below.
Now click the “Scan” button . MalwareBytes Free program will scan through the whole MAC OS for the BoostSelect adware software. A system scan can take anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes, depending on your Apple Mac. While the MalwareBytes Anti Malware is checking, you may see number of objects it has identified either as being malware.
When MalwareBytes Free is done scanning your MAC system, a list of all threats found is prepared. In order to remove all items, simply press “Remove Selected Items” button.
