Remove Alt.Center ads from Internet Explorer

Remove Alt.Center from Firefox by resetting internet browser settings

Resetting Mozilla Firefox internet browser will reset all the settings to their default values and will remove Alt.Center popup ads, malicious add-ons and extensions. However, your themes, bookmarks, history, passwords, and web form auto-fill information will not be deleted.

First, run the Mozilla Firefox. Next, click the button in the form of three horizontal stripes (Mozilla Firefox menu button). It will display the drop-down menu. Next, press the Help button (Mozilla Firefox help button).

Remove Ads by Alt.Center from Chrome

Another way to get rid of Alt.Center ads from Chrome is Reset Google Chrome settings. This will disable harmful plugins and reset Chrome settings to original settings. Essential information like bookmarks, browsing history, passwords, cookies, auto-fill data and personal dictionaries will not be removed.

  2. It will display the Chrome main menu. Choose More Tools, then click Extensions.
  3. You will see the list of installed extensions. If the list has the add-on labeled with “Installed by enterprise policy” or “Installed by your administrator”, then complete the following guide: Remove Chrome extensions installed by enterprise policy.
  4. Now open the Google Chrome menu once again, click the “Settings” menu.
  5. Next, press “Advanced” link, that located at the bottom of the Settings page.
  6. On the bottom of the “Advanced settings” page, click the “Reset settings to their original defaults” button.
  7. The Chrome will open the reset settings dialog box as shown on the screen above.
  8. Confirm the browser’s reset by clicking on the “Reset” button.
