The hijacker infection can also set up the ISearch web site as the Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, MS Edge and IE default search provider that cause search redirects via the web site. In this way, creators of the hijacker have an opportunity to display various advertisements together with the search results for your query. These undesired ads will be summarized in the redirected web-page. This can bring a lot of revenue for developers of the browser hijacker infection.
Also, adware (also known as ‘ad-supported’ software) may be installed on the system together with ISearch hijacker.
