Get rid of Search Helper from Internet Explorer
If you find that IE web browser settings like search engine, startpage and new tab page had been hijacked, then you may restore your settings, via the reset browser procedure.
First, run the IE. Next, press the button in the form of gear (). It will open the Tools drop-down menu, click the “Internet Options” as displayed on the screen below.
In the “Internet Options” window click on the Advanced tab, then click the Reset button. The IE will show the “Reset Internet Explorer settings” window as displayed on the screen below. Select the “Delete personal settings” check box, then click “Reset” button.

When the installation begins, you’ll see the “Setup wizard” that will help you install Malwarebytes on your personal computer.
Once install is complete, you’ll see window as shown on the image below.
Now press the “Scan Now” button to perform a system scan with this tool for the browser hijacker infection responsible for redirections to Search Helper. While the MalwareBytes is scanning, you may see number of objects it has identified either as being malware.
As the scanning ends, a list of all threats found is produced. When you’re ready, click “Quarantine Selected” button.
