The Ready Mail is a PUP (potentially unwanted program) from the group of hijacker infections. Deleting the Ready Mail, check the list of installed apps first

In order to remove PUPs such as this hijacker, open the MS Windows Control Panel and click on “Uninstall a program”. Check the list of installed applications. Get rid of Ready Mail homepage from Firefox

If your Firefox internet browser home page has replaced to Ready Mail without your permission or an unknown search engine opens results for your search, then it may be time to perform the browser reset.

Start the Firefox and click the menu button (it looks like three stacked lines) at the top right of the web-browser screen. Next, click the question-mark icon at the bottom of the drop-down menu. It will show the slide-out menu.

Select the “Troubleshooting information”. If you’re unable to access the Help menu, then type “about:support” in your address bar and press Enter. It bring up the “Troubleshooting Information” page as shown on the screen below.

Click the “Refresh Firefox” button at the top right of the Troubleshooting Information page. Select “Refresh Firefox” in the confirmation dialog box. The Mozilla Firefox will start a procedure to fix your problems that caused by the browser hijacker responsible for redirects to Ready Mail. After, it’s finished, press the “Finish” button.

Delete Ready Mail from IE

By resetting Internet Explorer web-browser you restore your browser settings to its default state. This is basic when troubleshooting problems that might have been caused by hijacker such as Ready Mail.

First, start the IE, press IE tools menu icon) button. Next, click “Internet Options” like below.

In the “Internet Options” screen select the Advanced tab. Next, click Reset button. The IE will open the Reset Internet Explorer settings prompt. Select the “Delete personal settings” check box and click Reset button.

You will now need to reboot your PC for the changes to take effect. It will delete Ready Mail hijacker and other web browser’s malicious extensions, disable malicious and ad-supported browser’s extensions and restore the Internet Explorer’s settings such as new tab page, search provider and startpage to default state.

Remove Ready Mail redirect from Chrome

If your Google Chrome browser is rerouted to intrusive Ready Mail page, it may be necessary to completely reset your internet browser application to its default settings.

  1. First, run the Google Chrome and press the Menu icon (icon in the form of three dots).
  2. It will display the Google Chrome main menu. Choose More Tools, then click Extensions.
  3. You’ll see the list of installed extensions. If the list has the extension labeled with “Installed by enterprise policy” or “Installed by your administrator”, then complete the following tutorial: Remove Chrome extensions installed by enterprise policy.
  4. Now open the Google Chrome menu once again, press the “Settings” menu.
  5. Next, click “Advanced” link, that located at the bottom of the Settings page.
  6. On the bottom of the “Advanced settings” page, press the “Reset settings to their original defaults” button.
  7. The Chrome will show the reset settings prompt as shown on the screen above.
  8. Confirm the web browser’s reset by clicking on the “Reset” button.

After the download is done, open the directory in which you saved it and double-click the Hitman Pro icon. It will launch the Hitman Pro tool. If the User Account Control prompt will ask you want to run the program, click Yes button to continue.

Use AdBlocker to block Ready Mail and stay safe online

To put it simply, you need to use an ad blocking utility (AdGuard, for example). It will stop and protect you from all undesired web pages like Ready Mail, ads and {pop-ups}. To be able to do that, the adblocker program uses a list of filters. Each filter is a rule that describes a malicious web-page, an advertising content, a banner and others. The ad-blocking application automatically uses these filters, depending on the web-pages you are visiting.
