The Mysearchdial Search browser hijacker infection will change your internet browser’s search provider so that all searches are sent through Mysearchdial Search, which redirects to Bing, Yahoo or Google Custom Search engine which displays the search results for your query. The developers of this hijacker are using legitimate search engine as they may make revenue from the ads which are displayed in the search results.

Often, the PC which has been infected with Mysearchdial Search hijacker, will be also infected with adware (also known as ‘ad-supported’ software) which shows a lot of various ads. It may be pop-ups, text links in the web-sites, banners where they never had. Disinfect the web-browser’s shortcuts to remove Mysearchdial Search redirect

Important to know, most anti malware applications which are able to delete hijacker, but unable to detect and recover changed shortcuts. So, you need to fix the desktop shortcuts for your Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, IE and Edge web-browsers manually.

Right click on the web-browser’s shortcut, click Properties option. On the Shortcut tab, locate the Target field. Click inside, you will see a vertical line – arrow pointer, move it (using -> arrow key on your keyboard) to the right as possible. You will see a text “http://site.address” that has been added here. Remove everything after .exe. An example, for Google Chrome you should remove everything after chrome.exe.

To save changes, press OK . You need to clean all browser’s shortcuts. So, repeat this step for the Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Edge.

If you find that Internet Explorer web-browser settings like new tab, homepage and search provider by default having been hijacked, then you may restore your settings, via the reset browser procedure.

First, launch the IE, click Internet Explorer tools menu icon) button. Next, click “Internet Options” as shown below.

In the “Internet Options” screen select the Advanced tab. Next, click Reset button. The Microsoft Internet Explorer will open the Reset Internet Explorer settings prompt. Select the “Delete personal settings” check box and click Reset button.

You will now need to reboot your personal computer for the changes to take effect. It will remove browser hijacker infection that cause Mysearchdial Search web page to appear, disable malicious and ad-supported web-browser’s extensions and restore the Internet Explorer’s settings such as start page, new tab and default search engine to default state.

Remove Mysearchdial Search from Chrome

Remove Mysearchdial Search from Firefox by resetting web-browser settings

If the FF settings like home page, newtab and default search engine have been changed by the browser hijacker infection, then resetting it to the default state can help.

First, open the Firefox. Next, click the button in the form of three horizontal stripes (Firefox menu button). It will display the drop-down menu. Next, press the Help button (Firefox help button).

How to automatically remove Mysearchdial Search browser hijacker infection

Manual removal steps does not always help to completely remove the browser hijacker, as it’s not easy to identify and remove components of browser hijacker infection and all malicious files from hard disk. Next, click the “Scan” button to perform a system scan with this tool for the browser hijacker which created to redirect your browser to the Mysearchdial Search site. While the Zemana program is scanning, you may see how many objects it has identified as threat.

When the downloading process is finished, close all applications and windows on your computer. Double-click the set up file called mb3-setup. If the “User Account Control” prompt pops up as displayed on the image below, click the “Yes” button.

Once installation is complete successfully, click Finish button. MalwareBytes AntiMalware (MBAM) will automatically start and you can see its main screen as displayed in the figure below.

Now click the “Scan Now” button .MalwareBytes Anti Malware program will scan through the whole computer for the browser hijacker that alters web-browser settings to replace your newtab, start page and search engine by default with Mysearchdial Search web-site. This procedure can take some time, so please be patient. During the scan MalwareBytes Free will detect all threats exist on your PC system.

As the scanning ends, MalwareBytes Free will show a scan report. All found threats will be marked. You can remove them all by simply press “Quarantine Selected” button. The MalwareBytes will begin to delete Mysearchdial Search hijacker infection and other internet browser’s malicious extensions.
