If the FF settings have been modified by the ‘ad supported’ software, then resetting it to the default state can help you to remove the redirect onto eroadvertising.com site.

First, run the Firefox and click FF menu button button. It will display the drop-down menu on the right-part of the internet browser. Next, click the Help button (Firefox help button) as shown in the figure below.

Another way to open the “Troubleshooting Information” screen – type “about:support” in the internet browser address bar and press Enter. Get rid of ads by eroadvertising.com from Chrome

Open the Chrome menu by clicking on the button in the form of three horizontal stripes (google chrome menu button). It opens the drop-down menu. Next, click the “Settings” option.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Show advanced settings” link. Now scroll down until the Reset settings section is visible, as shown in the figure below and click the “Reset settings” button.

Get rid of eroadvertising.com pop-up ads from Microsoft Internet Explorer

To remove the eroadvertising.com pop-up ads you need to reset the Microsoft Internet Explorer to the state, which was when the Windows was installed on your system.

First, run the IE, then click ‘gear’ icon Internet Explorer tools menu icon. It will open the drop-down menu on the right part of the web browser, then press the “Internet Options” as shown on the image below.

In the “Internet Options” screen, you need to select the “Advanced” tab and click the “Reset” button. The Internet Explorer will open the “Reset Internet Explorer settings” dialog box as shown below. Next, click the “Delete personal settings” check box to select it. After that, click the “Reset” button.

When the task is finished, press “Close” button. Close the Internet Explorer and reboot your system for the changes to take effect. This step will help you to restore your web-browser’s settings to default state and disable ‘ad-supported’ extensions.

Disinfect the browser’s shortcuts to get rid of eroadvertising.com redirect

When the adware is started, it can also alter the internet browser’s shortcuts, adding an argument similar “http://site.address” into the Target field. Due to this, every time you start the browser, it will be redirected to an unwanted advertisements.

To clear the browser shortcut, right-click to it and select Properties. On the Shortcut tab, locate the Target field. Click inside, you will see a vertical line – arrow pointer, move it (using -> arrow key on your keyboard) to the right as possible. You will see a text which begins with “http://” that has been added here. You need to remove it.

Remove unwanted Scheduled Tasks

If the annoying eroadvertising.com web-site opens automatically on Windows startup or at equal time intervals, then you need to check the Task Scheduler Library and remove all the tasks that have been created by malicious program.

When the download is finished, close all applications on your personal computer. Next, run the setup file named mb3-setup. If the “User Account Control” dialog box pops up as on the image below, press the Yes button.

It will display the “Setup wizard” that will help you install Malwarebytes on your PC. Follow the prompts and don’t make any changes to default settings.

Once installation is complete successfully, press Finish button. Then Malwarebytes will automatically start and you can see its main screen as shown in the figure below.

Now click the “Scan Now” button for checking your PC for the adware which cause a redirect to eroadvertising.com. Once the adware or malware is found, the number of the detected objects will change accordingly. Wait until the the checking is complete. Please be patient.
