Like other modern browsers, the Chrome has the ability to reset the settings to their default values and thereby remove the redirect to www.di7wee8.top unwanted ads which is caused by the adware.

At first, launch the Google Chrome. Next, click the button in the form of three horizontal stripes (google chrome menu button). It will appear the main menu. Click on the option named “Settings”. The Chrome will display the confirmation prompt. You need to confirm your action, press the “Reset” button. The program will run the task of cleaning. When it is finished, the web-browser settings including the ‘block pop-ups’ option back to the values that have been when the Chrome was first installed on your computer.

Remove www.di7wee8.top advertisements from Firefox

If the FF settings have been replaced by the ad-supported software, then resetting it to the default state can help you to delete the redirect onto www.di7wee8.top web-page.

First, run the Firefox and click FF menu button button. It will open the drop-down menu on the right-part of the web-browser. Next, click the Help button (Mozilla Firefox help button) as shown on the screen below.

Delete www.di7wee8.top from IE

To get rid of the www.di7wee8.top ads you need to reset the IE to the state, that was when the Windows was installed on your PC.

First, start the Internet Explorer, then press ‘gear’ icon IE tools menu icon. It will show the drop-down menu on the right part of the internet browser, then press the “Internet Options” as shown in the following image.

In the “Internet Options” screen, you need to select the “Advanced” tab and click the “Reset” button. The Internet Explorer will display the “Reset IE settings” dialog box as on the image below. Next, click the “Delete personal settings” check box to select it. After that, press the “Reset” button.

Once the process is done, click “Close” button. Close the Internet Explorer and reboot your machine for the changes to take effect. This step will help you to restore your web-browser’s settings to default state and disable ‘ad-supported’ extensions.

Now you need to clean up the browser shortcuts. Check that the shortcut referring to the right exe-file of the internet browser, and not on any unknown file. Right click to a desktop shortcut for your web browser. Choose the “Properties” option.

Delete unwanted Scheduled Tasks

Once installed, the adware can add a task in to the Windows Task Scheduler Library. Due to this, every time when you start your system, it will show www.di7wee8.top annoying web site. So, you need to check the Task Scheduler Library and get rid of all tasks that have been created by adware.

Press Windows and R keys on your keyboard together. It will open a dialog box which titled with Run. In the text field, type “taskschd.msc” (without the quotes) and click OK. Task Scheduler window opens. In the left-hand side, click “Task Scheduler Library”, as on the image below.

In the middle part you will see a list of installed tasks. Select the first task, its properties will be show just below automatically. Next, press the Actions tab. Necessary to look at the text which is written under Details. Found something like “explorer.exe http://site.address” or “chrome.exe http://site.address” or “firefox.exe http://site.address”, then you need delete this task. If you are not sure that executes the task, then google it. If it is a component of the adware, then this task also should be removed.

Further click on it with the right mouse button and select Delete as shown on the screen below.

Repeat this step, if you have found a few tasks that have been created by adware. Once is finished, close the Task Scheduler window.
