Every time when I run my Mozilla Firefox, a random tab opens with spam and scam web sites, after that a new tab opens every 30 seconds. Please help, how to stop unwanted tabs from opening in Firefox?

You might have adware or malware installed on your computer, because pop-ups, unwanted ads and spam tabs opening up automatically may be a sign of malicious software. In order to stop automatic opening of advertisements on new tabs, I suggest you following:
- Click Start, select “Control panel” option
- Open “Uninstall a program”
- Uninstall all suspicious and unknown applications
- Reset Firefox settings
- Download AdwCleaner and scan your computer and remove any malware found
