Answer for Pop-up ads "advertisement powered by" in Chrome

Myantispyware team March 19, 2016

Download AdwCleaner and Malwarebytes antimalware from links below. Both are free.

  1. Most probably, “advertisement powered by” pop-ups in Chrome did occur when you installed a free program? So, on first step, open Control panel, then Uninstall a program console, and uninstall this “free” program, all unused and unknown software.
  2. Close all open programs. Double click on AdwCleaner, then select I agree if it appears. Click Scan. When the scan of your system has completed. Click on Clean button.
  3. Run mbam-setup to start the installation of Anti-Malware. It will open the Anti-Malware Setup Wizard. Follow the prompts. When the installation is done, click to Scan now to perform a system scan. When the scan has completed, click on the Remove Selected button.
  4. Reset Chrome settings to default state (look the steps http://www.myantispyware.com/2016/01/06/how-to-reset-google-chrome-settings-to-default/)
