Chumsearch is a browser hijacker that takes control of Safari, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox and changes personal settings such as home page. It can be removed by following instructions below:

1. Open Finder, then Applications. Look for Chumsearch and move it to Trash. Also move to trash all unknown and unused applications.

If the Chumsearch malware is not removed, and you can not remove it yourself by following the instructions above, then use Anti-malware for Mac by Malwarebytes.
