Remove Stonorders.com pop-up advertisements from Internet Explorer

If you find that Microsoft Internet Explorer web-browser settings such as newtab page, homepage and default search provider had been modified by adware that causes Stonorders.com pop ups, then you may restore your settings, via the reset browser procedure.

First, open the Internet Explorer, then press ‘gear’ icon IE tools menu icon. It will show the Tools drop-down menu on the right part of the web browser, then press the “Internet Options” as displayed on the screen below.

In the “Internet Options” screen, select the “Advanced” tab, then press the “Reset” button. The Internet Explorer will open the “Reset Internet Explorer settings” dialog box. After the process is finished, press “Close” button. Close the Internet Explorer and reboot your personal computer for the changes to take effect. This step will help you to restore your browser’s search engine, new tab and startpage to default state.

It will display the “Troubleshooting Information” page as displayed on the image below. In the upper-right corner of this screen, press the “Refresh Firefox” button.

It will open the confirmation prompt. Further, press the “Refresh Firefox” button. The Firefox will start a procedure to fix your problems that caused by the Stonorders.com adware. When, it’s finished, press the “Finish” button.
