Myantispyware team discovered a new variant of the “I have to share bad news with you” email scam targets Polish users. The scammers changed the original English text and translated it into Polish, and started using a new bitcoin wallet (1Ps2HsbfZ9yuCyFzWdWFwMgnHGgs9Bnv5h). The size of the ransom has also changed, with the scammers now demanding 1250 EUR from their victims. Otherwise, everything remained the same, the scammers sent this scam to thousands of users, hoping that one of them would be naive enough to pay the required ransom.
“Muszę się z Tobą podzielić złą wiadomością” email message is new variant of Bitcoin blackmail scam. Bitcoin blackmail scam emails say that hackers hacked into the computer/phones/email account and recorded the victim visiting adult sites.
