A. Is your computer acting weird by displaying unwanted advertising or opening questionable webpages in your web-browser automatically? This is a sign of an adware attack.

How can Adware be dangerous to your system? Adware is a type of invasive apps — which can affect PC systems — frequently redirect your web-browser to certain web-sites so the owners of those sites can get profit by displaying advertisements to visitors. It is not a good idea to have installed adware. The reason for this is simple, it doing things you don’t know about. And of course you completely do not know what will happen when you click anything in the the ads.

Does adware steal your personal data? Adware software is often harmless, but sometimes the adware software you inadvertently download can also be spyware. Spyware can sometimes seek out your personal information stored on the machine, collect this information and use it to steal your identity.

Most of unwanted advertisements and pop-ups come from internet browser toolbars and/or extensions, BHOs (browser helper objects) and third-party applications. Most often, these items claim itself as software that improve your experience on the Internet by providing a fast and interactive home page or a search provider that does not track you. Remember, how to avoid the unwanted programs. Be cautious, run only reputable programs which download from reputable sources. NEVER install any unknown and questionable software.
