Q. How to remove “Backdoor Virus Detected” pop-ups? I’am getting pop ups, have removed suspicious programs, have removed dubious web browser plugins and still cannot remove them. Any help in finding where this malware is hiding so I can remove it would be very much appreciated.

This Virus is well known and mostly distributed through Adult/Porn sites.

A. The “Backdoor Virus Detected” pop-up is a fake alert that designed to force you into believing that your computer has been infected with malicious software.
