How to remove Video Seeker [Chrome, Firefox, IE, Edge]

Myantispyware team August 5, 2018

The Video Seeker is a browser hijacker. Unlike viruses, it will not delete or infect your files, but its actions will cause some problems with your browser. This is because that it’ll infect your PC system, get full access to your web browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome and be able to alter their settings. Of course, it did not ask you for permission and do it secretly as possible. Once your browser settings will be modified, you will be redirected to unwanted sites completely, certain of which can be dangerous or misleading webpages. For this reason, we recommend that you remove Video Seeker as soon as possible and thereby restore your favorite startpage and search provider.

As mentioned above, the Video Seeker hijacker infection also alters the web-browser’s search provider. So, your web-browser, when searching something, will show a hodgepodge of advertisements, links to unwanted and ad web sites and search results from the big search providers like Google or Bing. As a result, actual use of a web-browser’s search becomes uncomfortable. Moreover, it can also lead to slowing or even freeze your internet browser.

While the Video Seeker browser hijacker infection is active, you won’t be able to revert back the Mozilla Firefox, MS Edge, IE and Chrome’ settings such as search engine, newtab and startpage. If you try to set your home page to be Google, Bing or Yahoo, those settings will be automatically changed to Video Seeker with the next computer reboot. But this does not mean that you should just ignore it or get along with this fact. Because this is not the best option, due to the Video Seeker you can have problems with the Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer, undesired ads and even personal info theft.

So, if you happen to encounter intrusive Video Seeker redirect, then be quick and take effort to get rid of hijacker that causes browsers to display unwanted Video Seeker page ASAP. Follow the step-by-step tutorial below to get rid of Video Seeker search. Let us know how you managed by sending us your comments please.
