Open Start menu and choose the ‘Control Panel’ at right as shown in the figure below.

Then go to ‘Add/Remove Programs’ or ‘Uninstall a program’ (Microsoft Windows 7 or Vista) as shown on the screen below.

Carefully browse through the list of installed programs and remove all suspicious and unknown apps. We advise to click ‘Installed programs’ and even sorts all installed applications by date. After you’ve found anything dubious that may be the Video Converter or other PUP (potentially unwanted program), then choose this program and press ‘Uninstall’ in the upper part of the window. If the dubious program blocked from removal, then run Revo Uninstaller Freeware to fully remove it from your PC.

Remove unwanted Scheduled Tasks

In the middle part you will see a list of installed tasks. Select the first task, its properties will be display just below automatically. Next, press the Actions tab. Necessary to look at the text which is written under Details. Found something suspicious, then you need remove this task. If you are not sure that executes the task, then google it. If it’s a component of the malicious program, then this task also should be removed.

Repeat this step, if you have found a few tasks that have been created by Video Converter. Once is complete, close the Task Scheduler window.

Remove Video Converter pop-ups from IE

In order to restore all browser settings you need to reset the Microsoft Internet Explorer to the state, which was when the Microsoft Windows was installed on your computer.

First, start the Internet Explorer, then click ‘gear’ icon IE tools menu icon. It will display the Tools drop-down menu on the right part of the web-browser, then click the “Internet Options” as on the image below.

In the “Internet Options” screen, select the “Advanced” tab, then click the “Reset” button. The Internet Explorer will show the “Reset Internet Explorer settings” dialog box. Further, click the “Delete personal settings” check box to select it. Next, press the “Reset” button like below.

When the procedure is done, press “Close” button. Close the Internet Explorer and restart your personal computer for the changes to take effect. This step will help you to restore your internet browser’s newtab page, start page and search provider by default to default state.

Remove Video Converter ads from Chrome

Run the Reset web-browser tool of the Google Chrome to reset all its settings to original defaults. This is a very useful utility to use, in the case of web browser redirects to unwanted webpages.

  1. First, start the Google Chrome and press the Menu icon (icon in the form of three dots).
  2. It will show the Chrome main menu. Select More Tools, then click Extensions.
  3. You’ll see the list of installed plugins. If the list has the extension labeled with “Installed by enterprise policy” or “Installed by your administrator”, then complete the following guidance: Remove Chrome extensions installed by enterprise policy.
  4. Now open the Google Chrome menu once again, press the “Settings” menu.
  5. Next, click “Advanced” link, which located at the bottom of the Settings page.

  7. The Google Chrome will open the reset settings prompt as shown on the screen above.
  8. Confirm the internet browser’s reset by clicking on the “Reset” button.

Delete Video Converter from Mozilla Firefox by resetting internet browser settings

It will open the confirmation dialog box. Further, press the “Refresh Firefox” button. The Mozilla Firefox will begin a process to fix your problems that caused by the adware which opens unwanted Video Converter pop-ups. Once, it’s complete, click the “Finish” button.
