Remove Banner advertisements from Internet Explorer

In order to restore all internet browser startpage, newtab page and default search engine you need to reset the Microsoft Internet Explorer to the state, which was when the Microsoft Windows was installed on your computer.

First, run the Microsoft Internet Explorer, then click ‘gear’ icon Internet Explorer tools menu icon. It will display the Tools drop-down menu on the right part of the browser, then click the “Internet Options” as shown below.

In the “Internet Options” screen, select the “Advanced” tab, then click the “Reset” button. The IE will show the “Reset Internet Explorer settings” prompt. Further, click the “Delete personal settings” check box to select it. Next, click the “Reset” button as on the image below.

Once the procedure is finished, click “Close” button. Close the Microsoft Internet Explorer and reboot your PC system for the changes to take effect. This step will help you to restore your internet browser’s new tab page, homepage and default search engine to default state.

Remove Banner ads from Firefox by resetting web-browser settings

If the Firefox web-browser is re-directed to Banner ads and you want to restore the Mozilla Firefox settings back to their original settings, then you should follow the tutorial below. It will keep your personal information like browsing history, bookmarks, passwords and web form auto-fill data.
