Remove GrillaPrice ad-supported software without any tools

If the undesired GrillaPrice ads opens automatically on Windows startup or at equal time intervals, then you need to check the Task Scheduler Library and remove all the tasks that have been created by the GrillaPrice adware.

Press Windows and R keys on your keyboard simultaneously. It will show a prompt that called Run. In the text field, type “taskschd.msc” (without the quotes) and press OK. Task Scheduler window opens. In the left-hand side, click “Task Scheduler Library”, like below.

In the middle part you will see a list of installed tasks. Select the first task, its properties will be display just below automatically. Next, click the Actions tab. Necessary to look at the text which is written under Details. If you are not sure that executes the task, then google it. Remove GrillaPrice adware from Chrome

Run the Reset web browser utility of the Chrome to reset all its settings such as search provider by default, home page and newtab page to original defaults. This is a very useful utility to use, in the case of web browser redirects to undesired GrillaPrice ads.

  1. First run the Google Chrome and press Menu button (small button in the form of three dots).
  2. It will display the Chrome main menu. Choose More Tools, then click Extensions.
  3. You’ll see the list of installed extensions. If the list has the addon labeled with “Installed by enterprise policy” or “Installed by your administrator”, then complete the following steps: Remove Chrome extensions installed by enterprise policy.
  4. Now open the Chrome menu once again, click the “Settings” menu.
  5. You will see the Chrome’s settings page. Scroll down and press “Advanced” link.
  6. Scroll down again and press the “Reset” button.
  7. The Chrome will show the reset profile settings page as shown on the image above.
  8. Next click the “Reset” button.
  9. Once this task is complete, your browser’s home page, search provider by default and newtab will be restored to their original defaults.

Delete GrillaPrice from Firefox by resetting browser settings

If the Firefox settings like search provider by default, homepage and newtab page have been replaced by the adware, then resetting it to the default state can help.

First, run the Firefox and click Firefox menu button button. It will display the drop-down menu on the right-part of the browser. Further, press the Help button (Firefox help button) like below.

Another way to open the “Troubleshooting Information” screen – type “about:support” in the internet browser adress bar and press Enter. It will display the “Troubleshooting Information” page as displayed below. In the upper-right corner of this screen, click the “Refresh Firefox” button.

It will open the confirmation prompt. Further, click the “Refresh Firefox” button. The Mozilla Firefox will begin a task to fix your problems that caused by the GrillaPrice adware. When, it’s done, click the “Finish” button.

Get rid of GrillaPrice from Internet Explorer

In order to restore all web browser newtab page, start page and search provider you need to reset the IE to the state, that was when the Windows was installed on your PC system.

First, launch the IE. Next, click the button in the form of gear (Internet Explorer tools menu icon). It will open the Tools drop-down menu, press the “Internet Options” as displayed on the image below.

In the “Internet Options” window click on the Advanced tab, then click the Reset button. The Microsoft Internet Explorer will display the “Reset Internet Explorer settings” window as displayed on the image below. Select the “Delete personal settings” check box, then click “Reset” button.
