Click the right mouse button to a desktop shortcut which you use to launch your web-browser. Next, select the “Properties” option. Important: necessary to click on the desktop shortcut for the browser which is rerouted to the Asdfg.pro or other intrusive web site.

It will open the “Troubleshooting Information” page as shown in the figure below. In the upper-right corner of this screen, press the “Refresh Firefox” button.

It will open the confirmation prompt. Further, click the “Refresh Firefox” button. The Mozilla Firefox will begin a process to fix your problems that caused by the adware that cause unwanted Asdfg.pro pop-ups to appear. When, it is complete, click the “Finish” button.

Remove Asdfg.pro popup advertisements from Chrome

If your Google Chrome browser is re-directed to annoying Asdfg.pro web-page, it may be necessary to completely reset your internet browser program to its default settings.

First start the Chrome. Next, click the button in the form of three horizontal stripes (Google Chrome menu button). It will show the main menu. Further, click the option named “Settings”. Another way to open the Google Chrome’s settings – type chrome://settings in the web-browser adress bar and press Enter.

The web browser will display the settings screen. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the “Show advanced settings” link. Now scroll down until the “Reset settings” section is visible, as shown on the screen below and press the “Reset settings” button.

The Chrome will display the confirmation dialog box. You need to confirm your action, click the “Reset” button. The internet browser will launch the process of cleaning. When it is finished, the browser’s settings including start page, new tab page and search provider by default back to the values that have been when the Chrome was first installed on your PC.

The Internet Explorer reset is great if your web-browser is hijacked or you have unwanted addo-ons or toolbars on your internet browser, which installed by an malicious software.

First, launch the IE, then click ‘gear’ icon IE tools menu icon. It will open the Tools drop-down menu on the right part of the browser, then click the “Internet Options” as shown below.

Get rid of unwanted Scheduled Tasks

If the unwanted Asdfg.pro web-site opens automatically on Windows startup or at equal time intervals, then you need to check the Task Scheduler Library and remove all the tasks which have been created by malicious program.

Pay attention to that it launches on your PC. Found something like “explorer.exe http://site.address” or “chrome.exe http://site.address”, then remove this malicious task. If you are not sure that executes the task, check it through a search engine. If it is a component of the adware, then this task also should be removed.

Having defined the task that you want to get rid of, then click on it with the right mouse button and choose Delete as displayed in the figure below.

Repeat this step, if you have found a few tasks that have been created by adware. Once is finished, close the Task Scheduler window.
