Remove suspicious and unknown software by using Windows Control Panel

First, you should try to identify and remove the application that causes the appearance of annoying ads and internet browser redirect to unwanted web pages, using the ‘Uninstall a program’ which is located in the ‘Control panel’.

Very carefully look around the entire list of installed software. Most likely, one or more of them are responsible for the internet browser redirect to annoying b.partners-ship.pro ads. If you have many programs installed, you can help simplify the search of malicious programs by sort the list by date of installation. Once you have found a suspicious, unwanted or unused application, right click to it and press ‘Uninstall’.

Remove b.partners-ship.pro from Mozilla Firefox

First, run the Mozilla Firefox. Next, press the button in the form of three horizontal stripes (FF menu button). It will show the drop-down menu. Next, press the “Help” button (Firefox help button).

Get rid of b.partners-ship.pro from Chrome

Like other modern internet browsers, the Chrome has the ability to reset the settings to their default values and thereby remove the redirect to b.partners-ship.pro annoying ads which is caused by the ad-supported software.

At first, run the Chrome. Next, click the button in the form of three horizontal stripes (google chrome menu button). It will appear the main menu. Click on the option named “Settings”. Another way to display the Chrome’s settings – type chrome://settings in the web-browser adress bar and press Enter.

The browser will open the settings screen. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Show advanced settings” link. Now scroll down until the “Reset settings” section is visible, as shown below and click the “Reset settings” button.

The Google Chrome will show the confirmation prompt. You need to confirm your action, press the “Reset” button. The program will launch the process of cleaning. When it is finished, the web-browser settings including the ‘block pop-ups’ option back to the values that have been when the Chrome was first installed on your computer.

Remove b.partners-ship.pro pop-up ads from IE

First, run the Internet Explorer, then press IE tools menu icon button. Next, press “Internet Options” like below.

In the “Internet Options” screen select the Advanced tab. Next, click the “Reset” button. The IE will open the “Reset Internet Explorer” settings dialog box. Select the “Delete personal settings” check box and press Reset button.

You will now need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect. It will restore the Internet Explorer’s settings like start page and search provider by default to default state, disable ad-supported browser’s extensions and thereby get rid of the redirect to b.partners-ship.pro unwanted web page.

When the adware is started, it can also modify the web-browser’s shortcuts, adding an argument like “http://site.address” into the Target field. Due to this, every time you open the web browser, it will be rerouted to an unwanted ads.

To clear the web-browser shortcut, right-click to it and select Properties. On the Shortcut tab, locate the Target field. Click inside, you will see a vertical line – arrow pointer, move it (using -> arrow key on your keyboard) to the right as possible. You will see a text which starts with “http://” that has been added here. You need to remove it.

When the argument is removed, click the OK button. You need to clean all shortcuts of all your browsers, as they may be infected too.

Get rid of unwanted Scheduled Tasks

If the unwanted b.partners-ship.pro web page opens automatically on Windows startup or at equal time intervals, then you need to check the Task Scheduler Library and delete all the tasks that have been created by unwanted applications.

Press Windows and R keys on the keyboard simultaneously. This displays a prompt that titled as Run. In the text field, type “taskschd.msc” (without the quotes) and press OK. Task Scheduler window opens. In the left-hand side, click “Task Scheduler Library”, as shown below.

In the middle part you will see a list of installed tasks. Select the first task, its properties will be display just below automatically. Next, click the Actions tab. Pay attention to that it launches on your computer. Found something like “explorer.exe http://site.address” or “chrome.exe http://site.address”, then you need remove it. If you are not sure that executes the task, check it through a search engine. If it is a component of the adware, then this task also should be removed.

Having defined the task that you want to remove, then press on it with the right mouse button and select Delete as shown below.

Repeat this step, if you have found a few tasks that have been created by malicious software. Once is finished, close the Task Scheduler window.

After the download is finished, close all windows on your personal computer. Further, start the file named mb3-setup. If the “User Account Control” prompt pops up as shown on the screen below, press the Yes button.

It will open the “Setup wizard” that will assist you install Malwarebytes on the personal computer. Follow the prompts and do not make any changes to default settings.

Next, click the “Scan Now” button . This will start scanning the whole PC system to find out malware and ad supported software which cause the b.partners-ship.pro ads.
