you also remove the folder by reformatting.
remember only to back up all the files you need on the drive where the folder is found.

i need help..my prob is different..
i don’t want to remove..i try to protect my own autorun.inf
flash disinfector protect autorun.inf but before it protect, it reset the autorun.inf..
i create my own autorun.inf, n i would like to protect the modified autorun.inf
    any idea?

  27. Patrik
    ― October 28, 2009 - 12:29 pm  Reply

mk, no 100% protection. You can change autorun.inf file attributes to Read Only + Archive.

    ― November 4, 2009 - 3:29 am  Reply

    patrik,of course there’s no 100% protection..
but 80% or 10% will be good..
i’m tired of changing back my autorun.inf due to virus…
changing the attrib to read only + archive will not protect even 0.01%. coz i always try this this method and all of the virus can easily change my autorun.inf..
but when i using flash disinfector no virus can change it until now. but as i said, it can’t protect my personal autorun.inf..it reset the autorun.inf before it protect..

for ur info, i study at an institution n every time i plug my pendrive to comp at lab,it will get infected with so many virus..the student have a bad hobby to create simple virus that pass through pendrive n will give effect which quite disturbing..but flash disinfector way really useful so far..
