First, run the Mozilla Firefox and click button. It will show the drop-down menu on the right-part of the web browser. Further, click the Help button () as shown in the figure below
In the Help menu, select the “Troubleshooting Information” option. Another way to open the “Troubleshooting Information” screen – type “about:support” in the browser adress bar and press Enter. It will show the “Troubleshooting Information” page as shown on the screen below. In the upper-right corner of this screen, click the “Refresh Firefox” button.
It will show the confirmation dialog box. Further, click the “Refresh Firefox” button. The Mozilla Firefox will start a process to fix your problems that caused by the Enhanced by Google hijacker infection. When, it’s done, click the “Finish” button.
Get rid of Enhanced by Google search from Internet Explorer
First, run the Internet Explorer. Next, click the button in the form of gear (). It will open the Tools drop-down menu, click the “Internet Options” as on the image below.
In the “Internet Options” window click on the Advanced tab, then click the Reset button. The IE will show the “Reset Internet Explorer settings” window as on the image below. Select the “Delete personal settings” check box, then click “Reset” button.

- Close all applications and windows on your computer. Open a directory in which you saved it. Double-click on the icon that’s named mb3-setup.
- Further, click Next button and follow the prompts.
- Once install is finished, click the “Scan Now” button to start scanning your computer for Enhanced by Google hijacker. This procedure can take some time, so please be patient.
- When the scan is complete, make sure all entries have “checkmark” and click “Quarantine Selected”. Once disinfection is finished, you may be prompted to restart your computer.

After the download is done, open the directory in which you saved it and double-click the AdwCleaner icon. It will run the AdwCleaner utility and you will see a screen as shown on the screen below. If the User Account Control dialog box will ask you want to show the program, click Yes button to continue.
Next, click “Scan” to start checking your machine for the Enhanced by Google browser hijacker and other malware and adware.
When it has finished scanning is finished, it will show a list of all items detected by this utility like below.
You need to click “Clean” button. It will display a prompt. Click “OK” to begin the cleaning procedure. Once the cleaning procedure is finished, the AdwCleaner may ask you to reboot your computer. After restart, the AdwCleaner will show the log file.
