If you’re still seeing unwanted pop-up ads, then your computer is infected with adware. It is a software that designed to display lots of annoying and unwanted ads. First open Add/Remove tool in Control panel, find and uninstall all unused, unknown and suspicious programs. Next, I recommend to download and run AdwCleaner and Malwarebytes Anti-malware. Both are free. Both are much better that Windows Defender (Microsoft Antivirus). Once finished, reset Chrome settings using Chrome Cleanup Tools.
