  • Choose ‘Options’ and click on ‘Privacy & Security’ on the left hand side.
  • Scroll down to the ‘Permissions’ section and click the ‘Settings’ button next to ‘Notifications’.
  • In the opened window, find Prenow.net URL, other suspicious sites, click the drop-down menu and choose ‘Block’.
  • Click ‘Save Changes’ button.
  • Click the More button (it looks like three dots) in the top right corner of the Edge.
  • Scroll down to ‘Settings’. In the menu on the left go to ‘Advanced’.
  • Click ‘Manage permissions’ button under ‘Website permissions’.
  • Click the switch under the Prenow.net site so that it turns off.

  • Click the Gear button on the top right hand corner of the browser.
  • When the drop-down menu appears, click on ‘Internet Options’.
  • Click on the ‘Privacy’ tab and select ‘Settings’ in the pop-up blockers section.

  • On the top menu select ‘Safari’, then ‘Preferences’.

  4. Now open the Chrome menu once again, click the “Settings” menu.
  5. You will see the Chrome’s settings page. Scroll down and click “Advanced” link.
  6. Scroll down again and click the “Reset” button.
  7. The Chrome will open the reset profile settings page as shown on the image above.
  8. Next press the “Reset” button.
  9. Once this process is done, your browser’s default search provider, homepage and new tab will be restored to their original defaults.

By resetting Internet Explorer web-browser you restore your web browser settings to its default state. This is good initial when troubleshooting problems that might have been caused by adware software that causes multiple intrusive pop ups.

First, open the IE, click Microsoft Internet Explorer tools menu icon) button. Next, click “Internet Options” similar to the one below.
