What is Click-and-continue.live?

There are many scam web sites on the Internet and Click-and-continue.live is one of them. It is a website that deceives unsuspecting users into subscribing to push notifications. Scammers use push notifications to bypass protection against popups in the web-browser and therefore display a large count of unwanted advertisements. These advertisements are used to promote dubious web browser extensions, fake prizes scams, adware bundles, and adult web sites.

Click-and-continue.live

Click-and-continue.live is a misleading site that asks you to press on the ‘Allow’ button in order to to watch a video, enable Flash Player, access the content of the web site, connect to the Internet, download a file, and so on. Once enabled, the Click-and-continue.live notifications will start popping up in the lower right corner of your screen periodically and spam the user with annoying adverts.

  • In the top right corner of the browser window, tap on Chrome’s main menu button, represented by three vertical dots.
  • In the menu tap ‘Settings’, scroll down to ‘Advanced’.
  • In the ‘Site Settings’, tap on ‘Notifications’, locate the Click-and-continue.live URL and tap on it.
  • Tap the ‘Clean & Reset’ button and confirm.

  • Click on ‘three bars’ button at the top right corner of the browser window.
  • Choose ‘Options’ and click on ‘Privacy & Security’ on the left hand side of the screen.
  • Scroll down to the ‘Permissions’ section and click the ‘Settings’ button next to ‘Notifications’.
  • Select the Click-and-continue.live domain from the list and change the status to ‘Block’.
  • Click ‘Save Changes’ button.
  • In the top right hand corner, click the Edge menu button (it looks like three dots).
  • Scroll down to ‘Settings’. In the menu on the left go to ‘Advanced’.
  • Click ‘Manage permissions’ button under ‘Website permissions’.
  • Click the switch under the Click-and-continue.live URL and each dubious domain.

  • Click ‘Tools’ button in the right upper corner of the screen.
  • Go to ‘Internet Options’ in the menu.
  • Click on the ‘Privacy’ tab and select ‘Settings’ in the pop-up blockers section.
  • Select the Click-and-continue.live domain and other questionable sites under and delete them one by one by clicking the ‘Remove’ button.
  • Go to ‘Preferences’ in the Safari menu.
  • Select the ‘Websites’ tab and then select ‘Notifications’ section on the left panel.
  • Check for Click-and-continue.live domain, other dubious URLs and apply the ‘Deny’ option for each.

In order to restore all web-browser start page, search engine by default and new tab you need to reset the Internet Explorer to the state, which was when the MS Windows was installed on your PC.

First, open the Internet Explorer, then click ‘gear’ icon Microsoft Internet Explorer tools menu icon. It will show the Tools drop-down menu on the right part of the browser, then click the “Internet Options” like the one below.

When the procedure is complete, click “Close” button. Close the Internet Explorer and reboot your device for the changes to take effect. This step will help you to restore your internet browser’s newtab page, startpage and search engine by default to default state.

If the Firefox settings such as homepage, search engine by default and new tab page have been replaced by the adware, then resetting it to the default state can help. However, your themes, bookmarks, history, passwords, and web form auto-fill information will not be deleted.

Launch the Mozilla Firefox and click the menu button (it looks like three stacked lines) at the top right of the browser screen. Next, click the question-mark icon at the bottom of the drop-down menu. It will show the slide-out menu.

Select the “Troubleshooting information”. If you’re unable to access the Help menu, then type “about:support” in your address bar and press Enter. It bring up the “Troubleshooting Information” page like the one below.

Click the “Refresh Firefox” button at the top right of the Troubleshooting Information page. Select “Refresh Firefox” in the confirmation dialog box. The Mozilla Firefox will begin a process to fix your problems that caused by the Click-and-continue.live adware. Once, it’s complete, press the “Finish” button.

Remove Click-and-continue.live advertisements from Google Chrome

Reset Google Chrome will allow you to remove Click-and-continue.live pop up advertisements from your browser as well as to recover web browser settings hijacked by adware. All unwanted, malicious and ‘ad-supported’ plugins will also be removed from the internet browser.
