Drag the suspicious program from the Applications folder to the Trash.

Remove TypeConsole from Firefox by resetting browser settings

Press the Menu button (looks like three horizontal lines), and click the blue Help icon located at the bottom of the drop down menu as shown on the screen below.

Remove TypeConsole from Google Chrome

Reset Google Chrome settings is a easy way to remove TypeConsole ads, harmful and adware extensions, browser’s homepage, new tab page and search provider that have been changed by adware.

  1. First, start the Chrome and click the Menu icon (icon in the form of three dots).
  2. It will show the Google Chrome main menu. Choose More Tools, then press Extensions.
  3. You’ll see the list of installed extensions. If the list has the extension labeled with “Installed by enterprise policy” or “Installed by your administrator”, then complete the following tutorial: Remove Chrome extensions installed by enterprise policy.
  4. Now open the Chrome menu once again, click the “Settings” menu.
  5. Next, press “Advanced” link, that located at the bottom of the Settings page.
  6. On the bottom of the “Advanced settings” page, press the “Reset settings to their original defaults” button.
  7. The Chrome will open the reset settings dialog box as on the image above.
  8. Confirm the web-browser’s reset by clicking on the “Reset” button.

Delete TypeConsole from Safari

If you find that Safari web browser settings such as start page, new tab page and search engine by default having been replaced by TypeConsole , then you may revert back your settings, via the reset web-browser procedure.

Click Safari menu and select “Preferences”.

It will open the Safari Preferences window. Next, click the “Extensions” tab. Look for unknown and suspicious add-ons on left panel, choose it, then press the “Uninstall” button. Most important to get rid of all unknown extensions from Safari.

Once complete, click “General” tab. Change the “Default Search Engine” to Google.

Find the “Homepage” and type into textfield “https://www.google.com”.
