Remove SearchToolHelper adware software from Google Chrome

This step will show you how to reset Chrome browser settings to default values. This can delete SearchToolHelper ads and fix some browsing problems, especially after adware infection.   4. Now open the Chrome menu once again, click the “Settings” menu.
  5. Next, press “Advanced” link, which located at the bottom of the Settings page.

  7. The Chrome will open the reset settings dialog box as shown on the screen above.
  8. Confirm the browser’s reset by clicking on the “Reset” button.

If you find that Safari web-browser settings like startpage, new tab page and default search provider having been changed by SearchToolHelper, then you may return your settings, via the reset internet browser procedure.
