Once downloading is finished, close all apps and windows on your PC. Double-click the install file named Zemana.AntiMalware.Setup. If the “User Account Control” prompt pops up as shown below, click the “Yes” button.

Once setup is done successfully, Zemana Anti-Malware will automatically start and you can see its main screen as shown in the following example.

Now press the “Scan” button to perform a system scan with this utility for the MyloBot virus and other malware and PUPs. A scan can take anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the count of files on your PC and the speed of your machine. While the utility is scanning, you can see number of objects and files has already scanned.

Once the downloading process is finished, open the file location and double-click the HitmanPro icon. It will start the Hitman Pro tool. If the User Account Control dialog box will ask you want to start the program, press Yes button to continue.

Next, click “Next” . Hitman Pro tool will start scanning the whole system to find out the MyloBot and other malicious software and PUPs.

Delete MyloBot from Microsoft Internet Explorer

By resetting IE browser you return your web browser settings to its default state. This is basic when troubleshooting problems that might have been caused by the MyloBot virus.

First, launch the Internet Explorer, then click ‘gear’ icon Internet Explorer tools menu icon. It will show the Tools drop-down menu on the right part of the internet browser, then click the “Internet Options” like below.

In the “Internet Options” screen, select the “Advanced” tab, then click the “Reset” button. The Microsoft Internet Explorer will open the “Reset Internet Explorer settings” dialog box. Further, press the “Delete personal settings” check box to select it. Next, press the “Reset” button as displayed in the following example.

When the task is done, click “Close” button. Close the Internet Explorer and reboot your PC for the changes to take effect. This step will help you to restore your web browser’s homepage, search engine by default and new tab page to default state.

Remove MyloBot from Mozilla Firefox

If your Mozilla Firefox browser settings are affected by the MyloBot virus, then it may be time to perform the web browser reset. Essential information such as bookmarks, browsing history, passwords, cookies, auto-fill data and personal dictionaries will not be removed.

First, launch the Mozilla Firefox. Next, press the button in the form of three horizontal stripes (Mozilla Firefox menu button). It will display the drop-down menu. Next, press the Help button (Firefox help button).

In the Help menu click the “Troubleshooting Information”. In the upper-right corner of the “Troubleshooting Information” page click on “Refresh Firefox” button as shown in the figure below.

Confirm your action, click the “Refresh Firefox”.

Remove MyloBot from Google Chrome

Reset Google Chrome settings can help you solve some problems caused by malicious software and remove unwanted changes caused by MyloBot . This will also disable malicious add-ons as well as clear cookies and site data. It’ll save your personal information such as saved passwords, bookmarks, auto-fill data and open tabs.

Open the Chrome menu by clicking on the button in the form of three horizontal dotes (chrome menu button). It will show the drop-down menu. Select More Tools, then click Extensions.

Carefully browse through the list of installed addons. If the list has the extension labeled with “Installed by enterprise policy” or “Installed by your administrator”, then complete the following steps: Remove Google Chrome extensions installed by enterprise policy otherwise, just go to the step below.

Open the Google Chrome main menu again, press to “Settings” option.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Advanced” link. Now scroll down until the Reset settings section is visible, as shown on the screen below and click the “Reset settings to their original defaults” button.
