When the process is done, press “Close” button. Close the IE and restart your computer for the changes to take effect. This step will help you to restore your browser’s newtab page, search engine and startpage to default state.

Remove Skurki.info redirect from FF

Resetting your Firefox is first troubleshooting step for any issues with your web browser program, including the redirect to Skurki.info web-site.

First, launch the Mozilla Firefox and click FF menu button button. It will open the drop-down menu on the right-part of the web-browser. Further, click the Help button (Firefox help button) as displayed below.

It will display the “Troubleshooting Information” page as displayed on the screen below. In the upper-right corner of this screen, click the “Refresh Firefox” button.

It will open the confirmation dialog box. Further, click the “Refresh Firefox” button. The Firefox will start a task to fix your problems that caused by the ad supported software related to Skurki.info advertisements. After, it’s complete, click the “Finish” button.

Remove Skurki.info popup ads from Chrome

Run the Reset web-browser utility of the Google Chrome to reset all its settings such as newtab page, default search provider and start page to original defaults. This is a very useful tool to use, in the case of web-browser redirects to undesired ad web-sites like Skurki.info.

After it’s complete, the internet browser’s settings including home page, newtab and search engine by default back to the values that have been when the Google Chrome was first installed on your PC.

Remove unwanted Scheduled Tasks

Once installed, the ad-supported software can add a task in to the Windows Task Scheduler Library. Due to this, every time when you launch your computer, it will show Skurki.info annoying web-page. So, you need to check the Task Scheduler Library and remove all harmful tasks that have been created by unwanted apps.

Necessary to look at the text which is written under Details. Found something like “explorer.exe http://site.address” or “chrome.exe http://site.address” or “firefox.exe http://site.address”, then you need delete this task. If you are not sure that executes the task, then google it. If it’s a component of the adware, then this task also should be removed.

Repeat this step, if you have found a few tasks that have been created by adware. Once is finished, close the Task Scheduler window.
