Remove suspicious and unknown programs by using Windows Control Panel

When the ad supported software is started, it can also modify the web browser’s shortcuts, adding an argument like “http://site.address” into the Target field. Due to this, every time you start the web browser, it will be redirected to an annoying ads.

To clear the browser shortcut, right-click to it and select Properties. On the Shortcut tab, locate the Target field. Click inside, you will see a vertical line – arrow pointer, move it (using -> arrow key on your keyboard) to the right as possible. Remove Best Coupons advertisements from Mozilla Firefox

First, start the Firefox. Next, press the button in the form of three horizontal stripes (Mozilla Firefox menu button). It will show the drop-down menu. Next, press the “Help” button (FF help button).

In the Help menu, click the “Troubleshooting Information”. In the upper-right corner of the “Troubleshooting Information” page, click “Refresh Firefox” button.

Get rid of Best Coupons pop-up ads from Chrome

Remove Best Coupons pop-ups from IE

To delete the Best Coupons advertisements you need to reset the Internet Explorer to the state, that was when the Windows was installed on your computer.

First, run the Internet Explorer, then press ‘gear’ icon IE tools menu icon. It will show the drop-down menu on the right part of the web browser, then press the “Internet Options” as shown below.

In the “Internet Options” screen, you need to select the “Advanced” tab and press the “Reset” button. The IE will display the “Reset Internet Explorer settings” prompt like below. Next, click the “Delete personal settings” check box to select it. After that, press the “Reset” button.

Once the task is finished, click “Close” button. Close the Internet Explorer and reboot your machine for the changes to take effect. This step will help you to restore your web browser’s settings to default state and disable ‘ad-supported’ extensions.

Delete unwanted Scheduled Tasks

Once installed, the ‘ad supported’ software can add a task in to the Windows Task Scheduler Library. Due to this, every time when you start your computer, it will display Best Coupons annoying ads. So, you need to check the Task Scheduler Library and remove all tasks that have been created by adware.

Press Windows and R keys on your keyboard at the same time. It will open a dialog box that called Run. In the text field, type “taskschd.msc” (without the quotes) and press OK. Task Scheduler window opens. In the left-hand side, click “Task Scheduler Library”, as shown on the screen below.

Found something such as “explorer.exe http://site.address” or “chrome.exe http://site.address” or “firefox.exe http://site.address”, then you need remove this task. If you are not sure that executes the task, then google it. If it is a component of the malicious application, then this task also should be removed.

Further press on it with the right mouse button and select Delete as shown below.

Repeat this step, if you have found a few tasks that have been created by unwanted software. Once is finished, close the Task Scheduler window.

How to get rid of Best Coupons pop-up ads automatically

Once downloading is done, close all software on your system. Next, run the setup file named mb3-setup. If the “User Account Control” prompt pops up as shown below, click the Yes button.

It will show the “Setup wizard” which will help you install Malwarebytes on your machine. Follow the prompts and don’t make any changes to default settings.

Once installation is finished successfully, press Finish button. Then Malwarebytes will automatically start and you can see its main screen as on the image below.

Now press the “Scan Now” button . This will start scanning the whole personal computer to find out adware which displays unwanted Best Coupons ads.
