Delete suspicious and unknown software by using Windows Control Panel
First, you should try to identify and uninstall the application that causes the appearance of annoying ads and web-browser redirect to unwanted web pages, using the ‘Uninstall a program’ which is located in the ‘Control panel’.

When the ‘Control Panel’ opens, press the ‘Uninstall a program’ under Programs category as shown below. 
You will see the ‘Uninstall a program’ panel as shown on the screen below. 
Very carefully look around the entire list of installed programs. Most likely, one or more of them are responsible for the web-browser redirect to unwanted From Around The Web pop-up ads. If you have many programs installed, you can help simplify the search of malicious programs by sort the list by date of installation. Once you have found a suspicious, unwanted or unused program, right click to it and press ‘Uninstall’.

When the Windows ‘Control Panel’ opens, you need to press ‘Uninstall a program’ under ‘Programs’ as on the image below. 
You will see a list of programs installed on your personal computer. We recommend to sort the list by date of installation to quickly find the software that were installed last. Most likely they responsibility for the appearance of annoying popup ads and internet browser redirect. If you are in doubt, you can always check the application by doing a search for her name in Google, Yahoo or Bing. When the program, you need to delete, is found, simply click on its name, and then press ‘Uninstall’ like below. 
Remove From Around The Web ads from Firefox
If the FF settings have been replaced by the adware, then resetting it to the default state can help you to get rid of the redirect onto From Around The Web web-site.
First, start the Mozilla Firefox and click 
button. It will display the drop-down menu on the right-part of the browser. Next, press the Help button (
) as shown in the following image.
In the Help menu, select the “Troubleshooting Information” option. Another way to open the “Troubleshooting Information” screen – type “about:support” in the web browser address bar and press Enter. It will show the “Troubleshooting Information” page as shown on the screen below. In the upper-right corner of this screen, click the “Refresh Firefox” button.
It will open the confirmation dialog box, press the “Refresh Firefox” button. The Mozilla Firefox will start a process to fix your problems that caused by the adware. When it is complete, press the “Finish” button
Remove From Around The Web pop-up ads from Chrome
Open the Google Chrome menu by clicking on the button in the form of three horizontal stripes (). It opens the drop-down menu. Next, press the “Settings” option.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Show advanced settings” link. Now scroll down until the Reset settings section is visible, like below and press the “Reset settings” button.
Confirm your action, press the “Reset” button.
Remove From Around The Web from Internet Explorer
First, launch the Internet Explorer, then click the button in the form of gear (
). It will open the Tools drop-down menu as on the image below. Next, click the “Internet Options”.
In the Internet Options window click on the Advanced tab, then click the Reset button. The IE will display the “Reset Internet Explorer settings” window as shown in the following image. Select the “Delete personal settings” check box, then press on “Reset” button.
You will now need to restart your PC for the changes to take effect.
Disinfect the browser’s shortcuts to get rid of From Around The Web redirect
Now you need to clean up the browser shortcuts. Check that the shortcut referring to the right exe-file of the web browser, and not on any unknown file. Right click to a desktop shortcut for your web-browser. Choose the “Properties” option.
It will open the Properties window. Select the “Shortcut” tab here, after that, look at the “Target” field. The ‘ad-supported’ software can replace it. If you are seeing something similar “…exe http://web.site.address” then you need to remove “http…” and leave only, depending on the browser you are using:
- Google Chrome: chrome.exe
- Opera: opera.exe
- Firefox: firefox.exe
- Internet Explorer: iexplore.exe
Look at the example on the screen below.
Once is finished, click the “OK” button to save the changes. Please repeat this step for web-browser shortcuts that redirects to an unwanted web-sites. When you have completed, go to next step.
Delete unwanted Scheduled Tasks
If the unwanted From Around The Web ads opens automatically on Windows startup or at equal time intervals, then you need to check the Task Scheduler Library and remove all the tasks that have been created by adware.
Press Windows and R keys on the keyboard at the same time. This opens a prompt that titled with Run. In the text field, type “taskschd.msc” (without the quotes) and click OK. Task Scheduler window opens. In the left-hand side, press “Task Scheduler Library”, as shown below.

In the middle part you will see a list of installed tasks. Select the first task, its properties will be show just below automatically. Next, click the Actions tab. Pay attention to that it launches on your PC system. Found something like “explorer.exe http://site.address” or “chrome.exe http://site.address”, then you need delete it. If you are not sure that executes the task, check it through a search engine. If it is a component of the adware, then this task also should be removed.
Having defined the task that you want to get rid of, then click on it with the right mouse button and select Delete as shown in the following image.

Repeat this step, if you have found a few tasks that have been created by adware. Once is complete, close the Task Scheduler window.

Once downloaded, close all programs and windows on your PC. Open a directory in which you saved it. Double-click on the icon that’s named mb3-setup like below.
When the installation starts, you will see the “Setup wizard” which will help you install Malwarebytes on your computer.
When installation is finished, you will see window as shown on the image below.
Now click on the “Scan Now” button . This will start scanning the whole system to find out adware that causes the redirect to From Around The Web ads. This process can take some time, so please be patient.

Once the downloading process is finished, open the directory in which you saved it and double-click the AdwCleaner icon. It will launch the AdwCleaner utility and you will see a screen like below. If the User Account Control dialog box will ask you want to open the program, click Yes button to continue.
Now, click the “Scan” . This will start scanning the whole computer to find out adware which cause a redirect to From Around The Web ads.
