First, start the Mozilla Firefox. Next, click the button in the form of three horizontal stripes (Mozilla Firefox menu button). It will open the drop-down menu. Next, press the “Help” button (Firefox help button).

In the Help menu, press the “Troubleshooting Information”. In the upper-right corner of the “Troubleshooting Information” page, click “Refresh Firefox” button.

Uninstall bjyuko.xyz ads from Internet Explorer

First, run the IE, then press Internet Explorer tools menu icon button. Next, click “Internet Options” as shown in the following image.

In the “Internet Options” screen select the Advanced tab. Next, click the “Reset” button. The Microsoft Internet Explorer will display the “Reset Internet Explorer” settings dialog box. Select the “Delete personal settings” check box and click Reset button.

You will now need to reboot your personal computer for the changes to take effect. It will restore the Internet Explorer’s settings such as home page, newtab page and search provider by default to default state, disable ad-supported web-browser’s extensions and thereby delete the redirect to bjyuko.xyz annoying page.

Now you need to clean up the web-browser shortcuts. Check that the shortcut referring to the right exe-file of the internet browser, and not on any unknown file. Right click to a desktop shortcut for your web-browser. Choose the “Properties” option.

It will open the Properties window. Select the “Shortcut” tab here, after that, look at the “Target” field. The adware can rewrite it. If you are seeing something similar “…exe http://web.site.address” then you need to remove “http…” and leave only, depending on the browser you are using:

  • Google Chrome: chrome.exe
  • Opera: opera.exe
  • Firefox: firefox.exe
  • Internet Explorer: iexplore.exe

Remove unwanted Scheduled Tasks

If the unwanted bjyuko.xyz site opens automatically on Windows startup or at equal time intervals, then you need to check the Task Scheduler Library and delete all the tasks that have been created by malicios application.

Press Windows and R keys on the keyboard simultaneously. This displays a dialog box that titled with Run. In the text field, type “taskschd.msc” (without the quotes) and click OK. Task Scheduler window opens. In the left-hand side, click “Task Scheduler Library”, as shown on the screen below.

Pay attention to that it launches on your PC system. Found something like “explorer.exe http://site.address” or “chrome.exe http://site.address”, then you need remove it. If you are not sure that executes the task, check it through a search engine. If it is a component of the adware, then this task also should be removed.

Having defined the task that you want to remove, then click on it with the right mouse button and select Delete like below.

When the download is finished, close all programs on your computer. Next, start the setup file named mb3-setup. If the “User Account Control” prompt pops up as shown on the image below, press the Yes button.

It will display the “Setup wizard” that will help you install Malwarebytes on your system. Follow the prompts and don’t make any changes to default settings.

Once setup is complete successfully, press Finish button. Then Malwarebytes will automatically start and you can see its main screen as shown on the screen below.

Now click the “Scan Now” button to perform a system scan for the adware that cause a redirect to bjyuko.xyz. Once the adware or malware is found, the number of the detected objects will change accordingly. Wait until the the checking is done. Please be patient.
