First, press ‘Start’ button and select ‘Control Panel’ at right panel like below.

You will see a list of applications installed on your machine. We recommend to sort the list by date of installation to quickly find the programs that were installed last. First, launch the Mozilla Firefox and click button. It will open the drop-down menu on the right-part of the web browser. Next, click the Help button () as on the image below.
In the Help menu, select the “Troubleshooting Information” option. Another way to open the “Troubleshooting Information” screen – type “about:support” in the web browser address bar and press Enter. Remove Taboola advertisements from Internet Explorer
First, run the Internet Explorer, then press the button in the form of gear (). It will display the Tools drop-down menu as shown on the image below. Next, click the “Internet Options”.
In the Internet Options window click on the Advanced tab, then press the Reset button. The Internet Explorer will show the “Reset Internet Explorer settings” window as shown in the figure below. Select the “Delete personal settings” check box, then click on “Reset” button.
You will now need to reboot your computer for the changes to take effect.
Remove unwanted Scheduled Tasks
Once installed, the ‘ad supported’ software can add a task in to the Windows Task Scheduler Library. Due to this, every time when you start your computer, it will show Taboola annoying site. So, you need to check the Task Scheduler Library and get rid of all tasks that have been created by malicious program.
Press Windows and R keys on your keyboard at the same time. It will display a prompt that called Run. In the text field, type “taskschd.msc” (without the quotes) and press OK. Task Scheduler window opens. In the left-hand side, click “Task Scheduler Library”, like below.
In the middle part you will see a list of installed tasks. Select the first task, its properties will be open just below automatically. Next, press the Actions tab. Necessary to look at the text which is written under Details. Found something such as “explorer.exe http://site.address” or “chrome.exe http://site.address” or “firefox.exe http://site.address”, then you need delete this task. If you are not sure that executes the task, then google it. If it is a component of the malicious programs, then this task also should be removed.
Further press on it with the right mouse button and select Delete like below.
Repeat this step, if you have found a few tasks that have been created by unwanted applications. Once is done, close the Task Scheduler window.

After downloading is finished, close all windows on your system. Further, launch the file named mb3-setup. If the “User Account Control” prompt pops up as on the image below, press the Yes button.
It will show the “Setup wizard” which will assist you install Malwarebytes on the computer. Follow the prompts and do not make any changes to default settings.
When the installation is complete successfully, click Finish button. Then Malwarebytes will automatically start and you can see its main window as on the image below.

After downloading is finished, open the directory in which you saved it. Double click the AdwCleaner icon. Once this tool is opened, you will see a screen such as below.
