How to remove Key-Find.com Browser Hijacker and SupTab adware

Key-Find browser hijacker aka key-find.com hijacker is a new SupTab adware. Once infecting your`s computer, it takes control of your computer’s Internet browser and changes how and what it displays when you’re surfing the web. It changes your homepage to key-find.com, adds a links to websites that you’d usually avoid. Moreover, key-find.com adware may display a lot of ads pops up on your screen. In addition, this adware changes your search engine, so every time you’re looking for anything, you will be shown a key-find.com fake search results. All of these ads are provided for you based on the text that you enter into a search box. Most importantly, do not click on those ads because they might redirect you to the misleading websites which contain viruses, malware, etc.

Step by step instructions on how to remove Key-Find browser hijackerg from Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP.

Download HijackThis from here and save it to your desktop. Most important, in the Save dialog, rename HijackThis.exe to iexplore.exe !!!

Run HijackThis. Main menu opens. Click to “Do a system scan only” button. After HijackThis completes the system scan, check the box to the left of the following items:

Please be very careful, do NOT check any other boxes! Next, click on Fix checked on the bottom left side of the HijackThis screen. Close HijackThis.

Now you should download Malwarebytes Anti-malware and remove Key-Find browser hijacker and SupTab adware associated malware.

Download MalwareBytes Anti-malware (MBAM). Close all programs and Windows on your computer.

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application. When the installation begins, keep following the prompts in order to continue with the installation process. Do not make any changes to default settings and when the program has finished installing, make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware, then click Finish.

If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.

Once the program has loaded you will see window similar to the one below.

Select Perform Quick Scan, then click Scan, it will start scanning your computer for Key-Find browser hijacker and SupTab adware infection. This procedure can take some time, so please be patient.

When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results. You will see a list of infected items similar as shown below. Note: list of infected items may be different than what is shown in the image below.

Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected for start Key-Find browser hijacker and SupTab adware removal process. When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.
