Photorec recovery tool can not restore doc files like .docx, .doc, .ppt, .pdf etc., but it restores other formats like .jpg, .png, .zip, .txt, .mp3

Make sure that the ‘.docx, .doc, .ppt, .pdf’ file types are checked in the list of file types that you need to find and restore.
