It will delete Smart Blocker adware, disable malicious and ad-supported internet browser’s extensions and restore the Internet Explorer’s settings such as default search provider, new tab page and start page to default state.

Get rid of Smart Blocker from Mozilla Firefox by resetting internet browser settings

If the Firefox web browser program is hijacked, then resetting its settings can help. The Reset feature is available on all modern version of Mozilla Firefox. A reset can fix many issues by restoring Mozilla Firefox settings like start page, search engine by default and newtab to their original settings. It will save your personal information such as saved passwords, bookmarks, auto-fill data and open tabs.

Start the Mozilla Firefox and press the menu button (it looks like three stacked lines) at the top right of the web browser screen. Next, click the question-mark icon at the bottom of the drop-down menu. It will open the slide-out menu.

Click the “Refresh Firefox” button at the top right of the Troubleshooting Information page. Select “Refresh Firefox” in the confirmation dialog box. The Mozilla Firefox will begin a procedure to fix your problems that caused by the Smart Blocker adware software. When, it’s complete, press the “Finish” button.

Remove Smart Blocker from Chrome

In this step we are going to show you how to reset Google Chrome settings. potentially unwanted apps such as the adware software can make changes to your internet browser settings, add toolbars and undesired extensions.
