How to remove Fast approach TT adware [Virus removal]

The Fast approach TT is classified as ‘ad-supported’ software (also known as adware) which created to make money. Remove suspicious and unknown programs by using Windows Control Panel

First, you should try to identify and remove the program that causes the appearance of annoying ads and web browser redirect to unwanted sites, using the ‘Uninstall a program’ which is located in the ‘Control panel’.

Very carefully look around the entire list of installed software. Most likely, one or more of them are responsible for the browser redirect to annoying ad sites. If you have many programs installed, you can help simplify the search of malicious software by sort the list by date of installation. Once you have found a suspicious, unwanted or unused application, right click to it and press ‘Uninstall’.

First, click ‘Start’ button and select ‘Control Panel’ at right panel as shown on the image below.

When the Windows ‘Control Panel’ opens, you need to click ‘Uninstall a program’ under ‘Programs’ like below.

You will see a list of software installed on your machine. We recommend to sort the list by date of installation to quickly find the applications that were installed last. Most likely they responsibility for the appearance of unwanted pop-up ads and browser redirect. If you are in doubt, you can always check the program by doing a search for her name in Google, Yahoo or Bing. When the application, you need to uninstall, is found, simply click on its name, and then click ‘Uninstall’ as shown on the image below.

Remove Fast approach TT ads from Google Chrome

Open the Google Chrome menu by clicking on the button in the form of three horizontal stripes (google chrome menu button). It opens the drop-down menu. Next, click the “Settings” option.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Show advanced settings” link. Now scroll down until the Reset settings section is visible, like below and click the “Reset settings” button.

Confirm your action, click the “Reset” button.

Remove Fast approach TT pop-up ads from Firefox

First, start the Firefox. Next, press the button in the form of three horizontal stripes (FF menu button). It will display the drop-down menu. Next, click the “Help” button (Firefox help button).

In the Help menu, click the “Troubleshooting Information”. In the upper-right corner of the “Troubleshooting Information” page, press “Refresh Firefox” button.

Confirm your action, press the “Refresh Firefox”.

Delete Fast approach TT ads from Internet Explorer

First, launch the Internet Explorer, then click Internet Explorer tools menu icon button. Next, press “Internet Options” as shown on the image below.

In the “Internet Options” screen select the Advanced tab. Next, press the “Reset” button. The Microsoft Internet Explorer will display the “Reset Internet Explorer” settings prompt. Select the “Delete personal settings” check box and click Reset button.

You will now need to restart your machine for the changes to take effect. It will restore the Internet Explorer’s settings like homepage, new tab page and search engine by default to default state, disable ad-supported browser’s extensions and thereby remove the redirect to annoying ad web pages.

Disinfect the browser’s shortcuts

Once the ad-supported software is started, it can also change the web-browser’s shortcuts, adding an argument similar “http://site.address” into the Target field. Due to this, every time you run the internet browser, it will be redirected to an unwanted advertisements.

To clear the web browser shortcut, right-click to it and select Properties. On the Shortcut tab, locate the Target field. Click inside, you will see a vertical line – arrow pointer, move it (using -> arrow key on your keyboard) to the right as possible. You will see a text that begins with “http://” that has been added here. You need to remove it.

When the argument is removed, press the OK button. You need to clean all shortcuts of all your web browsers, as they may be infected too.

Remove unwanted Scheduled Tasks

Once installed, the ad supported software can add a task in to the Windows Task Scheduler Library. Due to this, every time when you run your system, it will open an annoying ad web site. So, you need to check the Task Scheduler Library and remove all tasks that have been created by malicious programs.

Press Windows and R keys on your keyboard at the same time. It will display a dialog box which called Run. In the text field, type “taskschd.msc” (without the quotes) and press OK. Task Scheduler window opens. In the left-hand side, click “Task Scheduler Library”, as shown in the figure below.

In the middle part you will see a list of installed tasks. Select the first task, its properties will be display just below automatically. Next, press the Actions tab. Necessary to look at the text which is written under Details. Found something such as “explorer.exe http://site.address” or “chrome.exe http://site.address” or “firefox.exe http://site.address”, then you need delete this task. If you are not sure that executes the task, then google it. If it’s a component of the adware, then this task also should be removed.

Further click on it with the right mouse button and select Delete like below.

Repeat this step, if you have found a few tasks that have been created by ‘ad-supported’ program. Once is done, close the Task Scheduler window.

How to remove Fast approach TT adware automatically

Manual removal is not always as effective as you might think. Often, even the most experienced users can not completely remove Fast approach TT advertisements from the infected machine. When downloading is done, close all applications on your PC system. Next, open the setup file named mb3-setup. If the “User Account Control” prompt pops up as shown on the image below, press the Yes button.

It will show the “Setup wizard” which will help you install Malwarebytes on your PC system. Follow the prompts and don’t make any changes to default settings.

Once installation is complete successfully, click Finish button. Then Malwarebytes will automatically start and you can see its main screen as shown on the image below.

Now click the “Scan Now” button . This will begin scanning the whole computer to find out Fast approach TT adware that cause a redirect to unwanted ad sites. When the adware or malware is found, the number of the detected objects will change accordingly. Wait until the the scanning is complete. Please be patient.
