First, start the Firefox and click Mozilla Firefox menu button button. It will show the drop-down menu on the right-part of the web-browser. Next, click the Help button (Firefox help button) as on the image below.

Remove chrome-38.site pop-ups from Microsoft Internet Explorer

To delete the chrome-38.site advertisements you need to reset the Internet Explorer to the state, which was when the Windows was installed on your system.

First, run the Internet Explorer, then press ‘gear’ icon Internet Explorer tools menu icon. It will open the drop-down menu on the right part of the web browser, then click the “Internet Options” as shown below.

In the “Internet Options” screen, you need to select the “Advanced” tab and click the “Reset” button. The IE will display the “Reset Internet Explorer settings” prompt as shown in the figure below. Next, click the “Delete personal settings” check box to select it. After that, press the “Reset” button.

Once the process is complete, click “Close” button. Close the Internet Explorer and reboot your PC for the changes to take effect. This step will help you to restore your browser’s settings to default state and disable ‘ad-supported’ extensions.

Disinfect the browser’s shortcuts to remove chrome-38.site redirect

Once the adware is started, it can also change the web browser’s shortcuts, adding an argument such as “http://site.address” into the Target field. Due to this, every time you open the web-browser, it will be redirected to an unwanted ads.

To clear the internet browser shortcut, right-click to it and select Properties. On the Shortcut tab, locate the Target field. Click inside, you will see a vertical line – arrow pointer, move it (using -> arrow key on your keyboard) to the right as possible. Remove unwanted Scheduled Tasks

Once installed, the ad supported software can add a task in to the Windows Task Scheduler Library. Due to this, every time when you launch your machine, it will display chrome-38.site annoying web-site. So, you need to check the Task Scheduler Library and remove all tasks that have been created by adware.

Press Windows and R keys on your keyboard together. It will show a prompt which titled as Run. In the text field, type “taskschd.msc” (without the quotes) and click OK. Task Scheduler window opens. In the left-hand side, click “Task Scheduler Library”, as shown in the figure below.

After downloading is finished, close all windows on your PC system. Further, open the file named mb3-setup. If the “User Account Control” dialog box pops up as shown below, click the Yes button.
