There are many types of malware and one of them is adware (sometimes called ‘ad-supported’ software). The adware, which causes the appearance of browserexstensions.review pop-ups or the redirect to this unwanted web page, have a negative impact on the functioning of your PC system. It modifies personal computer settings, generates a lot of various ads, slows down the Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Edge and the speed of your internet connection. Moreover, it may lead to the fact that pages are slow to load and the browser interface can even freeze. Remove suspicious and unknown software by using Windows Control Panel

We recommend that you start the machine cleaning process by checking the list of installed programs and delete all unknown or suspicious software. This is a very important step, as mentioned above, very often the malicious programs such as adware and browser hijackers may be bundled with freeware. Remove the unwanted programs may remove the unwanted ads or web browser redirect to unknown or unwanted pages.

Windows 8, 8.1, 10

Press Windows key windows key, then click Search windows search. Type “Control panel”and press Enter.

First, click “Start” and select “Control Panel”.

Delete browserexstensions.review advertisements from Mozilla Firefox

First, run the Mozilla Firefox. Next, click the button in the form of three horizontal stripes (Firefox menu button). It will open the drop-down menu. Next, click the “Help” button (Firefox help button).

In the Help menu, press the “Troubleshooting Information”. In the upper-right corner of the “Troubleshooting Information” page, click “Refresh Firefox” button.

Remove browserexstensions.review advertisements from Chrome

Remove browserexstensions.review ads from Internet Explorer

To remove the browserexstensions.review you need to reset the Internet Explorer to the state, that was when the Windows was installed on your computer.

First, start the Internet Explorer, then click ‘gear’ icon Internet Explorer tools menu icon. It will open the drop-down menu on the right part of the internet browser, then click the “Internet Options” as shown below.

In the “Internet Options” screen, you need to select the “Advanced” tab and click the “Reset” button. The Microsoft Internet Explorer will show the “Reset Internet Explorer settings” prompt as shown below. Next, click the “Delete personal settings” check box to select it. After that, click the “Reset” button.

When the task is done, press “Close” button. Close the Internet Explorer and reboot your system for the changes to take effect. This step will help you to restore your browser’s settings to default state and disable ‘ad-supported’ extensions.

Remove unwanted Scheduled Tasks

Once installed, the ‘ad-supported’ software can add a task in to the Windows Task Scheduler Library. Due to this, every time when you start your personal computer, it will open browserexstensions.review annoying web-page. So, you need to check the Task Scheduler Library and remove all tasks that have been created by ‘ad-supported’ application.

Press Windows and R keys on your keyboard simultaneously. It will display a dialog box that titled with Run. In the text field, type “taskschd.msc” (without the quotes) and click OK. Task Scheduler window opens. In the left-hand side, press “Task Scheduler Library”, as shown on the screen below.

In the middle part you will see a list of installed tasks. Select the first task, its properties will be show just below automatically. Next, click the Actions tab. Necessary to look at the text which is written under Details. Found something such as “explorer.exe http://site.address” or “chrome.exe http://site.address” or “firefox.exe http://site.address”, then you need delete this task. If you are not sure that executes the task, then google it. If it’s a component of the adware, then this task also should be removed.

Repeat this step, if you have found a few tasks that have been created by ‘ad-supported’ program. Once is finished, close the Task Scheduler window.

Once downloaded, close all software and windows on your machine. Open a directory in which you saved it. Double-click on the icon that’s named mb3-setup like below.
