- This will launch the “Setup wizard” of MalwareBytes onto your personal computer. Follow the prompts and don’t make any changes to default settings.
- When the Setup wizard has finished installing, the MalwareBytes Free will run and show the main window.
- Further, click the “Scan Now” button . MalwareBytes application will scan through the whole computer for the NetMeterX adware and other security threats. Depending on your machine, the scan can take anywhere from a few minutes to close to an hour.
