Once install is complete, you’ll see window as displayed in the figure below.
Now click the “Scan Now” button for scanning your computer for the virus and other kinds of potential threats such as malware and potentially unwanted programs. This process may take some time, so please be patient. While the MalwareBytes Free utility is checking, you can see number of objects it has identified as being affected by malicious software.
When MalwareBytes AntiMalware (MBAM) has finished scanning, MalwareBytes will display a list of found items. Review the results once the tool has done the system scan. If you think an entry should not be quarantined, then uncheck it. Otherwise, simply click “Quarantine Selected” button.
